Our high quality finishing processes not only result in a silky smooth grain texture with even coloration throughout each hide, but also clean surfaces and excellent cutting yields. Aeronautica's unique protective finish makes it suitable for all aircraft environments.

Processing and Finishing
Aeronautica is processed using low emission mineral tanning formulas which are environmentally friendly. The hides are retanned in aged oak drums using vegetable agents, natural fat liquors and oils along with dyes that ensure the leather is properly through dyed. No PCP or CFC is used during the tanning process. Waterbased finishes are applied to provide an even coloration and protection to the leather.
